Registration information

All participants, including speakers and session chairs are required to register and pay the standard Congress registration fee.

Online registration

Click here to register online. Please have the VAT number of your company at hand if it is VAT-registered in an EU country. You will be requested to quote the VAT number so that an appropriate invoice can be issued.

You can register on-line even if you do not wish to submit your credit card details via our server. In this case credit card details may be faxed to CEDA.

Registration by mail or fax

If you prefer to register by mail or fax please use the Congress registration form. Registration will be confirmed only after full payment has been received.

Registration fees

All fees are payable in Euro (€). It is mandatory to charge the German VAT (Value Added Tax) at the rate of 16% on all fees.

* All individual members and employees of corporate members are eligible for registration at the members rate.

The participant and student registration fee includes: Attendance at all sessions; full set of Congress documents; coffee/tee during scheduled breaks; lunch on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; technical visits; entrance to the exhibition; welcome drink; civic reception and gala dinner; free ticket to the SMM 2004 Trade Fair.

The accompanying person registration fee includes: Hamburg city tour on Tuesday; technical visits; entrance to the exhibition; welcome drink; civic reception and gala dinner; free ticket to the SMM 2004 Trade Fair. Partners are invited to register for the additional tours at the rates indicated. Please refer to the Congress registration form.

The post congress tour fee includes: Accommodation on Friday and Saturday nights; lunch and dinner on Friday, Saturday and Sunday; all transportation (catamaran, bus, horse ridden carriage).

Deadline pre-registration: Participants registering and paying the registration fees after 1 September are requested to bring a copy of bank remittance advice as a proof that payment has been made.

Registration upon arrival: Participants must register at the registration desk upon arrival at the Congress. Please remember to bring your confirmation of participation with your participant's number. The registration desk will be located on the entrance level of the CCH. The opening hours will be as follows: Sun. 26 Sept.:1-6 pm; Mon. 27 Sept. - Thurs. 30 Sept.: 8 am - 6 pm; Fri.1 Oct.: 8 -10 am. On-site payment can be made by credit card using the Mastercard, Visa and American Express.

Cancellation of participation

Pre-registered participants who are unable to attend the Congress will have their fees refunded less € 150 service fee provided written notice of non-attendance (by letter, fax or e-mail) is received by the Congress Secretariat on or before 15 August 2004. No refunds will be made after 15 August, but paid-no shows will receive all materials covered by their registration fee. Substitutions will be accepted at any time, preferably with advance notice. All refunds will be processed after the Congress.

Method of payment

All payments must be made in Euros (€). All bank costs must be paid by the payee.

Credit card payments can be made using the Mastercard, Visa and American Express. An additional charge of 5% must be included for all credit card payments.
